Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Scanway Catering Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering firm, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including food and beverage servers, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as quality control standards.
- Ability to train and develop staff members to improve performance and meet quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
