We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead our Gas Bar teams at our locations in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a Gas Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for our staff and members, while also providing world-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements
  • Apply industry-leading standards in category management and merchandising
  • Lead the team to provide exceptional customer service
  • Communicate with the Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements
  • Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits
  • Ensure standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, and overall expectations

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

  • Prior experience in managing a high-paced retail business, preferably in a gas bar and/or car wash environment
  • Above-average communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • A full commitment to building effective teams
  • An aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques
  • A firm, yet friendly and sociable personality
  • A natural affinity for welcoming our members to the site, while embracing an inclusive environment for our employees
  • A strong understanding of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office
  • An ability to work well with others
