About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
- Coach and mentor sales associates to improve their skills and performance.
- Manage and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is an asset.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
