Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Worker/Handyman to join our team at Everclean Facility Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for attending to tenant service requests, performing repairs and inspections on equipment, building infrastructure and systems, and ensuring the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect all lighting on the property and replace as required
  • Review and complete assigned work orders from property management
  • Conduct property signage inspections
  • Check door operations for sealing and pest access
  • Inspect for rodent activity and bird nesting
  • Check weather seal closures, crash bars, signage, and hinges
  • Repair holes and trip hazards promptly
  • Check and repair damaged speed bumps, curbs, and parking lot markings
  • Check lights for proper function and replace bulbs and ballasts as needed
  • Call in an electrician if required
  • Attend to tenant service requests and emergency calls
  • Respond to emergencies such as leaks and minor plumbing requests
  • Check parking lot and stair lighting and report as needed
Weekly Tasks
  • Inspect service entrances, corridors, and back-of-house spaces for deficiencies
  • Check roof and podium level drains for backup or clogging and clear as necessary
  • Replace broken signs and sign posts
  • Inspect playground equipment for loose bolts, screws, and attachments and replace as needed
Monthly Duties
  • Inspect exit signs and emergency lighting for proper function
  • Assist security with fire alarm checks
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Site Manager and Property Operations Manager

We are a large and successful facility services company seeking a Part-time Facility Maintenance Worker at our Brentwood Mall location. This role requires a flexible schedule, with availability for overnights, 7 am to 3 pm, and 1 pm to 9 pm shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license, forklift certificate (an asset), Boiler Safety Awareness Certificate (an asset), and two years of Handyman/maintenance experience. Company perks include a flexible schedule, easy access to management, and training opportunities.
