We are seeking a reliable and organized Bus Driver to join our team at The Lakers' Go -Bus Society. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.
Key Responsibilities- Operate buses and other vehicles to transport passengers, adhering to schedules and routes.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns from passengers.
- Collect fares and manage transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure passenger safety during emergency evacuation procedures and while boarding and exiting vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and integrity.
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers)
- Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
- Criminal record check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Driver's abstract
This is a permanent position with a bi-weekly schedule of 4 to 8.5 hours. The ideal candidate will be available for shift or on-call work and reside in proximity to the advertised location.
