We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve and maintain the mobility and overall health of our clients. This will involve conducting thorough assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing clinical physiotherapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their physical and functional limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Physiotherapy Services: Provide clinical physiotherapy treatments to clients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve mobility and function.
  • Education and Communication: Educate clients and their families on health care management, including self-care needs, physical and emotional health, and other relevant topics.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress reports for each client.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapy assistants, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise physiotherapy assistants and students/interns, and provide clear instructions to implement rehabilitation programs, group exercises, or one-on-one exercises.
Requirements:
  • Registration and Licensure: Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Professional Insurance: Must have Professional License Insurance.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills while interacting with clients or their families.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care environment.
  • ADP Authorization: ADP authorization is considered an asset.
  • Police Check: Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
