**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at WITRON Service Canada Corporation. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated logistic systems, identifying and resolving technical issues, and maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency in your work.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated logistic systems, including equipment and machinery
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, using logic and problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently
  • Adhere to established procedures and policies, and escalate repetitive faults to the relevant teams
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, and maintain a high level of housekeeping standards
  • Monitor system performance and operational status, and provide feedback to the team
  • Participate in regular improvement meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to 5S principles and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

**Requirements**

  • No specific technical education required, but a post-secondary trades certificate in automation or maintenance-related fields is preferred
  • Minimum High School Diploma required
  • Technically and mechanically inclined, with practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks and procedures
  • PC skills in a Windows environment
  • Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 meters
  • Ability to work days, evenings, and nights, and weekends (after ramp-up begins)
  • Ability to travel for training if required
