Retail Buyer Job Description

Circle K is seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team. As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store layout and customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets the company's quality standards.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment:

The Retail Buyer will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
