Job Summary:

The Brock Group is seeking a highly skilled Insulation Estimator to join our team. As an Insulation Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for insulation projects, working closely with our construction team to ensure timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of insulation materials, methods, and tools to provide accurate estimates and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with construction managers and supervisors to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Produce detailed estimates, including material costs, labor costs, and equipment rentals, to ensure accurate project pricing.
  • Travel to operational sites for surveys and meetings to gather project information and provide on-site support.
  • Consult with company managers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure alignment with company procedures and policies.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and technical support to management and supervisors on insulation-related matters.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to meet project requirements.
  • Interact with field/site management and corporate/functional management to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Interpret and understand client requirements to provide tailored solutions and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • College degree or at least five years of experience in a related field, such as construction or engineering.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction, including insulation materials and equipment.
  • Competent in the use of Navisworks 3D models and AutoCAD software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, management, and colleagues.
  • Ability to problem-solve, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
