About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Manager to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a key member of our Sales - Business Office department, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Performance: Determine needed programs and/or actions to increase financial performance on a continuing basis.
  • Target Achievement: Identify targets for finance product sales and ensure that such targets are met.
  • Client Engagement: Proactively identify client needs and offer appropriate advice in accordance with business objectives.
  • Documentation and Funding: Ensure all vehicle financial contract documentation is accurate and properly submitted to our Financial Institute partners, and achieve timely funding of vehicle financial contracts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to planning and development of budgets, implementation of action plans, and monitoring variances against budget.
  • Team Leadership: Communicate department objectives and methods and procedures to all department staff, and plan, organize, and coordinate activities with the Sales department.
  • Goal Setting: Establish long- and short-term goals, including objectives for turnover, profit, percentage, and finance source.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of the Finance & Insurance department to determine the level of fulfillment of planned goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role with a strong sales record.
  • Organization and Time Management: Well organized and possess strong time management skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships.
  • Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Highly self-motivated and have the ability to learn quickly and be open to challenges.
  • Financial Skills and Business Networks: Strong financial skills and business networks.
  • Language Skills: A valid British Columbia Driver's License with a good driving record, and Mandarin and/or Cantonese considered an asset.
