About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Intelligence Lead to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Data Modeling
    • Design and implement semantic data models for business intelligence solutions
    • Collaborate with the data architecture team to build back-end data models and customer-facing semantic models
    • Ensure data integrity and performance through end-to-end metrics and workflows
  • Dashboard and Visualization Development
    • Develop visually appealing and intuitive dashboards using Power BI
    • Leverage advanced visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights
  • UX/UI Design
    • Apply UI/UX design principles to create compelling and user-friendly interfaces
    • Collaborate with product management, business leaders, and engineering partners to gather reporting specs and improve designs
  • BI Operations
    • Automate deployment processes and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
    • Partner with data governance, analytics leads, and data architecture teams on access, policy, and compliance
    • Develop BI standards and best practices artifacts
    • Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering end-to-end business intelligence solutions
  • Expertise in Power BI, Looker, Tableau, and other industry-standard tools and their ecosystems
  • Experience with Python and the ability to write stored procedures, views, and SQL functions
  • Knowledge of deployment processes and release pipelines, including Git
  • Knowledge in version control
  • Expert knowledge of back-end semantic data modeling
  • Proficiency in front-end dashboard and visualization development
  • Experience in UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma
  • Experience with business intelligence operations, DevOps, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake
