Job Description for Food Service Supervisor at PIZZA HUT

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PIZZA HUT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service is delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to our kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain Records and Orderliness: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that the kitchen area is clean and organized at all times.
  • Work with the Chef: Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise the Assembly of Trays: Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that they are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules to ensure that the kitchen is staffed appropriately to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and performing a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. This role requires physical demands and a high level of energy.
