Boston Pizza is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to multitask, and have a passion for delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food is prepared to meet quality standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Administrative: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Environment: Noisy, odours, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
