About Lakshya Digital

Lakshya Digital, a Keywords Studio, is a leading interactive entertainment and game development services studio in South Asia. We have game production studios in Gurgaon and Pune, and business offices in Tokyo, Japan, and San Diego, California.

We are expanding our team in Canada and globally, and we are looking for top-quality technical artists to collaborate with our distributed development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, define, improve, and maintain artist pipelines, tools, and workflows
  • Interface with stakeholders and drive collaborative projects
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve them by inventing or building robust, quality technical implementations
  • Participate in art asset reviews to help identify technical concerns or risks
  • Mentor and guide team members in areas of expertise and instill best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of professional experience in computer-generated art
  • Solid understanding of 3D math
  • Intimate knowledge of Maya and computer graphics
  • Proficient scripting/programming experience with Python, PyQT/PySide
  • Experience with HLSL, GLSL or similar shader languages
  • Good understanding of algorithm design and of their complexity
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable and extensible code with attention to reusability
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design
  • Enthusiasm and initiative
  • Excellent spoken and written communication
  • Able and motivated to work with other team members

Preferred Experience

  • Industry experience working on or shipping AAA titles
  • Programming experience with C++
  • Good understanding of modern lighting and rendering techniques
  • Knowledge or experience in procedural asset creation like Houdini, Substance
  • Experience with OpenMaya and Maya plugin development
