About the Role:
Tatchan Noodle is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for training staff in food preparation and handling, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Food preparation
- Food safety/handling skills
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
Requirements:
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Japanese cuisine knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- Repetitive tasks
- Standing for extended periods
- Work under pressure
