About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Consultant to join our E-procurement team at mdf commerce Inc. As a key member of our international team of 650 experts, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing SaaS solutions to power the critical work of public procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to uncover customer business objectives, pain points, and project requirements.
  • Develop winning sales strategies and presentations for prospects using best practices and industry expertise.
  • Present the value of mdf solutions through sophisticated and collaborative demos.
  • Build high-quality functional responses to RFPs and support all functional/technical activities through the sales cycle.
  • Work effectively with other parts of the organization, including Product Management and R&D, to support ongoing product improvements via prospects' and customers' feedback.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client business processes through presentations, demonstrations, and RFx response development.
  • Act as a functional expert for sales directors and account executives.
  • Meet with field sales executives regularly to develop strategies to build pipelines, work specific opportunities, and close business.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with all the above-supported executives and staff.
  • Participate in weekly sales calls with executive management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge or experience in Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Knowledge or experience with SaaS and Cloud-Based applications.
  • Experience working with the U.S./Canada Public Sector is an asset.
  • Able to articulate the value of and sell SaaS/Cloud-Based applications.
  • You stay current on the solution roadmap and competitive offers to improve your industry knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in M.S. Office suite and other software tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Commitment to company values and understanding of our corporate purpose.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with prospective clients in complex environments.
  • Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan for the short and long term.
  • Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
