Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in big data to join our team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting data pipeline applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in problem-solving, OOP, data structures, and algorithms, and 10+ years of experience in backend application development. You will also have experience in developing and optimizing big data applications using Java with Scala and/or Spark, and working with Cloudera/HDP or similar big data/Hadoop DB systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement data pipeline applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop and optimize big data applications using Java with Scala and/or Spark
* Work with Cloudera/HDP or similar big data/Hadoop DB systems
* Develop and design micro-service architecture
* Containerize applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift
* Ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git

Requirements
* Strong background in problem-solving, OOP, data structures, and algorithms
* 10+ years of experience in backend application development using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
* 5+ years of experience in developing and optimizing big data applications using Java with Scala and/or Spark
* Experience with Cloudera/HDP or similar big data/Hadoop DB systems
* Proven hands-on experience in containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.
* Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines
