About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our team working on our regulatory project - RM (Risk Modernization), under GFT Programs. The primary focus of this role is to provide software engineering expertise, covering design, implementation, and support of the RM data pipeline applications, namely Aggregation of Market Risk and Market Data Shocks and Scenarios generation.

  • A technical expert in developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or making significant improvements to existing software.
  • Significant independent judgment will be used and will be expected to act as a technical leader on projects.
  • Strong background in problem solving, OOP, data structures and algorithms.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • ~10+ years backend application development experience in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
  • ~5+ years in developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP
  • ~ Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines
