Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Spa Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a key member of our spa team, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests
  • Perform a variety of massage and body treatments, including 30 and 60 minute massages
  • Ensure individualized guest service by acknowledging and responding to needs and expectations
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order
  • Manage supplies, including massage oils, towels, and sheets
  • Participate in in-house training opportunities and extend home care suggestions to our clientele
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited 2200 hour massage program
  • Registered within the province of Alberta prior to beginning employment
  • Previous experience in a spa environment is preferred
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift, with the ability to lift and carry 20lbs
Physical Aspects of the Position
  • Lifting under 20lbs 10% of work time
  • Pushing 35lbs pressure through wrists 80% of work time
  • Motions bending, standing, reaching, and working with hands, arms, and fingers continuously throughout the workday
  • Work environment indoors with very limited exposure to sunlight
