Job Title: French Immersion Educator

We are seeking a talented French Immersion educator to enrich the learning experience of our students in School District 47 (Powell River). As a French Immersion Teacher on Call (TTOC), you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement creative and engaging lessons based on the BC Ministry of Education Curriculum
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education
  • Membership in or eligible to become a member of the BC Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)
  • French Immersion training and/or experience (native or native-like fluency)
  • Demonstrated fluency and facility (both oral and written) in French and English
