About the Role

As a Logistics Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Canada sourcing strategies for logistic categories, including warehousing and freight spends. You will work closely with Regional key stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and priorities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute sound sourcing strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive implementation of Canada sourcing strategies for logistic categories, including warehousing and freight spends.
  • Work closely with Regional key stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute sound sourcing strategies.
  • Understand service spends across the business, analyze category markets, and translate into actionable strategies and forward-looking analyses.
  • Identify, select, and develop suppliers, negotiate and contract within portfolio and supply based in alignment with RB Global and local strategies.
  • Establish strategic relationships with supply base and implement supplier management strategies.
  • Become a key member of Procurement NPS Logistic team that will drive sustained performance and improve procurement effectiveness.
  • Accountable to continuously improve supplier performance, including service and quality.
  • Prepare budget assumptions for portfolio in line with Canada Strategies and assumptions.
  • Identify and monitor risks and opportunities related to each category, drive the organization to mitigate identified risks, and quickly implement opportunities adopting creative solutions.
  • Design, verify, and amend contracts in conjunction with Legal Dept, with special attention to protect intellectual property, minimize liabilities, exclusivity period of innovation, ensure availability, and cost improvement.
  • Act to continuously deliver COP improvement and NWC.
