We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Inspector to join our team at JD Property Canada Corp.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance to drawings, specifications, and building codes on construction sites. This will involve inspecting the construction of buildings and engineering construction, as well as ensuring that electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist manager in implementing safety programs
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts
  • Inspect construction of buildings and engineering construction
  • Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications, and building codes
  • Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations
  • Enforce steel and concrete installation codes
  • Inspect construction of sewer systems and pipelines
  • Inspect to ensure safe working conditions are maintained
  • Inspect existing buildings for structural defects and fire hazards
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Cellular phone
