Saskatchewan Polytechnic seeks a Campus Health Nurse to join our team. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year.
Job DescriptionThe Campus Health Nurse will provide health education and counseling on various health issues and refer students and staff to appropriate resources as needed. Key responsibilities include initiating and delivering health education and wellness programs, preparing and revising health services procedures, ordering equipment and supplies for the health centre, and maintaining immunization records.

- Prepare and revise health services procedures.
- Order equipment and supplies for the health centre.
- Maintain immunization records.
- Assess and provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, referring more serious cases to medical attention.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of nursing practice experience, with two years being recent and relevant in community or employee health and wellness. They must also be eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of three years of nursing practice experience, with two years being recent and relevant in community or employee health and wellness.
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Current knowledge of immunizations and the administration of routine immunizations.
- Knowledge of infection control and occupational health.
- Level 'C' CPR certification and Level 1 and Level II Provincial OH&S Training.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
