About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at CDI College – Montreal.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our dental team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our college.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the dental team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, such as preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and sterilizing equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education programs, ensuring patients understand their treatment options and aftercare instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Dental Assisting or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a dental setting, preferably in a clinical or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
