Job Title: Senior Technical Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team at ADGA Group Consultants Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation for our clients in the Defence and Security sector.

Job Summary:

The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, and technical proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field. They will also have a proven track record of working on Military Command and Control systems and have experience with the preparation of business correspondence and reports in the field of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for clients in the Defence and Security sector
  • Create high-quality user manuals, system specifications, and technical proposals
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather information and develop documentation
  • Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets client requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical writing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on Military Command and Control systems
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of business correspondence and reports in the field of Information Technology
  • Proof University Degree or College Diploma in any discipline
  • Experience providing advice and/or guidance on technical writing issues
  • Experience providing verbal briefings/presentations on a technical topic
