London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Department Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the pharmacy meets all regulatory standards and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the pharmacy meets all provincial pharmacy regulatory body standards and legislative requirements
- Foster a culture of professionalism, good business practices, and a strong work ethic
- Operate the pharmacy efficiently, focusing on staff productivity, staff training, team building, and payroll usage
- Resource planning, addressing manpower needs, staff performance standards, training, and development plans
- Ensure all company directives, policies, and procedures are well communicated and executed
- Ensure good inventory control and measures are in place
- Build the pharmacy business and increase pharmacy sales and profit
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 2-3 years of pharmacy experience
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of self-motivation and resourcefulness
- Good organizational skills and diligence
- Good business sense
