As a valued member of our team at Save-On-Foods, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient-centred care to our customers and communities in Vernon, BC.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests, and accurately inputting patient and prescription information into our computer system.
  • Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as conducting expiry date checks and inventory corrections.
  • Communicating effectively with our pharmacist to ensure accurate billing and allergy interaction information.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 2 years of dispensary experience.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset.
