Physiotherapy Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physiotherapist to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with conducting group exercises and one-on-one therapy sessions with residents.
  • Encourage residents to reach their treatment goals and document progress.
  • Perform various treatments, including applying ice packs, hot packs, and electrotherapy.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the Physiotherapist or supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Physiotherapy Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a Long Term Care or Retirement home is an asset.
  • Current police check and TB test required.
