Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 2449246 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization

Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices.

Vehicle Operation and Maintenance

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and performing regular inspections.

Cargo Handling and Documentation

Load and unload goods, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and relay information to central dispatch.

Communication and Teamwork

Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Will train.

Language

English.

Work Hours

40 to 45 hours per week.
