Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at J @ J BRO INC. as a key member of our transportation department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
