Job Summary

Kirpal Transportation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring the ability to work 40-50 hours per week. As a Truck Driver with Kirpal Transportation Ltd., you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Pay and Receipt: Pay and receive payments for goods, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on the vehicle, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Inspections and Record Keeping: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to strict protocols to prevent damage or loss.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
Benefits
