Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, following all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Accurately record and report all trips, expenses, and incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a truck driver.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and any additional certifications required by law or company policy.

Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Housing Allowance: A housing allowance may be provided for out-of-town drivers.
  • Overtime Pay: Overtime pay may be available for extended hours or special assignments.

Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with Big World Logistics Ltd., you will work independently, driving long distances across various routes, while maintaining regular communication with dispatch and other team members.
