About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technical product leader to join our AWS Serverless Messaging team. As a Senior Product Manager, Tech, you will be responsible for defining and leading the next generation of our cloud messaging services.

Our team owns and operates Simple Notification Service (SNS) and Simple Queue Service (SQS), which are core components in the cloud architectures of Amazon and leading global enterprises. If you are passionate about building cutting-edge technologies and making it easy for customers to build reliable and high-performing distributed applications, this role is for you.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience delivering enterprise, infrastructure, compute products and services in a high growth environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
  • Experience with influencing and working with large, external companies
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
