About the Role:
As a Care Companion at ParaMed Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals living in a Long-Term Care facility. Your attentive supervision and support will make a significant difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuity of service for individuals who may be at risk when unattended
- Offer companionship and support the well-being of patients
- Assist with mealtime and basic housekeeping duties when applicable
- Provide personal hygiene care and support for basic activities of daily living
Requirements:
- Compassion and listening skills
- Passion for making a difference in your community
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Experience working with seniors and/or children is an asset
- Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire
