About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process legal documents, including court filings, client submissions, and trial preparation materials
  • Organize and maintain accurate records, including document tracking and version control
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with meeting coordination, including booking space and sending meeting invitations
  • Prepare and submit time and expense reports for lawyers
  • Perform general office duties, including photocopying, printing, and binding
Requirements
  • College certificate or diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
  • Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and accuracy in documentation preparation
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
