Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipment Technician Assistant will be responsible for assisting technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Assisting technicians with repairs and troubleshooting
  • Inspecting equipment before and after use to identify any damage or wear
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 License with a clean driving record
  • Experience working with heavy equipment or a related field (e.g. construction, manufacturing)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
