First Student Canada-Transco is seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team in Stratford, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school buses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and S and/or T license.
  • Experience with heavy equipment and vehicle repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ASE certification a plus.
