Oilfield Production Chemistry Technical Service Specialist

ChampionX is seeking a highly skilled Oilfield Production Chemistry Technical Service Specialist to join our Production Chemical Technologies team in Grande Prairie, AB.
This is an exciting opportunity for a chemistry enthusiast with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration to join a leading company in the oil and gas industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced recommendations related to multiple product applications and optimization, as well as participating in field work, including sampling and testing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on production system troubleshooting, product selection, and application.
- Developing and deploying best practices for numerous products and programs within an industry segment.
- Collaborating with the Sales team to influence customer requests for proposal's (RFP's) and their specifications.
- Accountable for a project load that includes scoping, production fluid testing, implementation, and liaising with our research, development & engineering team as well as subject matter experts.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree or college diploma in a relevant field, industry experience, and a strong understanding of production chemicals.
Additional requirements include:
- Effective time management and ability to multi-task.
- Experience in Technical Service or Sales specific to production chemicals.
- Advanced technical sales focused communication skills; both written and verbal.
