Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to join our Winnipeg Maintenance Team at StandardAero Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day break/fix work on machines and equipment, working closely with the Winnipeg Maintenance Manager and a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair Work: Identify problems, adjust or repair equipment according to specifications or best maintenance practices to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Equipment Movement and Assembly: Perform dismantling, assembly, installation, and commissioning of facility and operations equipment and machines.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks in conjunction with Operators and Production managers.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed repair, maintenance, and certification records and reports of work performed.
Requirements
  • Certification: Holds, or is working towards an industrial mechanic (millwright) certification.
  • Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, complex production equipment, facility systems, hydraulics & pneumatics, and control systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
Working Conditions

The required shift is M-F 7:30-4:00pm, however shift may change due to business demands. The ideal candidate must be available to work "on-call" for facilities and equipment maintenance issues as per schedule.
