Indigenous COOP Student Opportunity: Architectural Design and Community Engagement

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Indigenous COOP student to join our team at Exp Global Inc. as a Student Opportunity in Architectural Design and Community Engagement.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, community engagement, and project coordination. As a Student Opportunity, you will work closely with our design team to assist with design activities, administrative functions, and community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in design activities, including data collection, research, and analysis.
- Support administrative functions, such as document preparation, filing, and record-keeping.
- Build relationships with multiple teams, including design, project management, and community outreach.
- Help present project information to various audiences, including stakeholders, community members, and project partners.
- Assist with graphic design and social media content creation.
- Act as a liaison between the design team and Indigenous participants and partners.
- Organize and communicate with Indigenous partners, communities, and stakeholders.
- Support other projects the design team is working on, as needed.
Requirements
- Interest in architecture, engineering, and community engagement.
- Technical background in architecture, engineering, or construction is an asset.
- High school diploma, preferred.
- Pursuing or intend to pursue post-secondary or technical program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding and capability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software applications.
