About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Kings of Media Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Strategy
    • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
    • Provide guidance and support to senior management on financial matters.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and suppliers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in the media and entertainment industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong financial management and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
