Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
  • Participate in promotional activities and maintain a positive attitude towards sales and customer service
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a retail or cash handling environment
  • Knowledge of electronic cash registers and point of sale systems
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
