Job Overview:

As a Senior Data Science Developer at Global Technical Talent, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines, analytics models, and data products for our clients in the Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Labour Immigration Training, and Skills Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement data storage structures in Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks Lakehouse, and Azure Synapse to support analytics solutions.
  2. Automate data pipelines using Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory to ingest, prepare, transform, and model data for use in analytics products.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights to stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with technical staff to architect, design, and implement continuous improvement enhancements to analytics solutions.
  5. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and build documentation to ensure seamless handovers and knowledge sharing.
Evaluation Criteria:
  1. Data Storage and Preparation - 35%
    Proven experience with Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks Lakehouse, and Azure Synapse structures in real-world implementations.
  2. Data Pipelines - 35%
    Expertise in automating data pipelines using Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
  3. Data Analytics - 15%
    Proficiency in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  4. Knowledge Transfer - 15%
    Experience in conducting knowledge transfer sessions and building documentation for technical staff.
