Venus Electrical Consulting and Design Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing power equipment and systems, installing equipment, and maintaining existing infrastructure.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires at least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary for this position is approximately $70,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. However, please note that salaries can vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power equipment and systems
  • Install equipment and perform maintenance tasks
  • Read blueprints and other instructions to determine work requirements
  • Test power equipment and systems
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
