Electrical Technician Job Description

Venus Electrical Consulting and Design Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for designing and developing power equipment and systems, installing equipment, and maintaining electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power equipment and systems
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment and systems
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine work requirements
  • Test and inspect electrical equipment and systems
  • Assist in calibrating electronic equipment and instruments
  • Collect and compile operational data
  • Conduct research in electrical and electronic engineering and physics
  • Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose and analyze electrical components and systems
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Working Conditions
  • 30-35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
