We are seeking a driven and energetic professional to join our growing team in a fast-paced client-facing role as an Acquisition Growth Specialist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a talent for building relationships, and a genuine curiosity about people and the businesses they've built. The role requires the ability to accurately qualify and reach out to leads, effectively manage a sales pipeline, and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with software business owners through various channels, including phone, email, LinkedIn, conferences, and in-person meetings.
  • Gather high-level financial and operational insights about potential acquisition targets.
  • Clearly articulate Maple River Software's acquisition criteria and unique value proposition to prospective software business owners.
  • Create customized messaging that resonates with key decision-makers and advance opportunities through the M&A pipeline.
  • Conduct research to identify promising markets and software companies for acquisition.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in cold calling, particularly targeting founders and C-suite executives, and a highly energetic and proactive approach to building relationships. A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment are essential. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or lead generation, preferably in a B2B context, is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with additional benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
