About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Driver - Material Handler to join our dynamic Logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport blood and blood products safely and efficiently, adhering to strict procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment and supplies at donor centers and mobile events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and staff, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to greet and assist donors, as needed.
  • Utilize technology to set up systems and Wi-Fi connections for mobile events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 4 BC driver's license and a clean commercial driver's abstract.
  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable professional driving experience.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
