Pulcinella Ristorante Italiano seeks an experienced Line Cook to join its team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 7 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A post-secondary education or equivalent training is also required.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate the quantity and cost of food supplies and ingredients
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to ensure efficiency in the kitchen
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, as well as for special events and functions
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth operation
  • Plan menus that meet quality standards and are appealing to customers
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain a safe working environment


Work Environment:

  • Restaurant setting with a permanent work term
  • Supervision of 3-4 people
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language requirement
