Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Mould Setter to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process, maintaining accurate records.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring efficient production and storage.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, with manual dexterity and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Will train and learn our processes and procedures.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The language of work is English. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
