Job Title: Plastic Mould Setter

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Mould Setter to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
